Fern is a 2 year old, super cute Lab/Pit mix. She was found as a stray in terrible condition, covered in fleas, mange. & severely underweight. She has been slowly recovering from a torn toenail & has since put on weight & grown all of her hair back. She is super soft & a very gentle dog, that loves lounging around on soft beds & sofas (if you let her) Fern loves children & being in the company of calm male dogs. Cats are not her favorite friends, however she doesnt know a stranger & is an excellent sidekick whether youre doing yard work or catching up on your favorite shows. As young as she is, she is very low key & does well in the house & crate as well, if needed. Fern is currently undergoing slowkill heartworm treatment, covered by the rescue & is available for a foster to adopt home!
