Who wants to play FETCH? LUNA!!! Luna is a 3 year old Lab mix with the best smile. She is very friendly and so much fun!  She absolutely loves to fetch-- and she brings the ball back and drops it for you to throw again! She would love to have a fenced yard to play fetch in.  Luna is a beautiful girl and super sweet natured and bright.  She loves people and other dogs. She is friends with another sweet dog here, Riley, and they love to play together.  Luna would love to have a home with Riley or with another dog to play with.  She weighs 51 lbs. 


ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Please visit our PETFINDER HOME PAGE at  https://kckac.petfinder.com for upcoming weekend hours at our shelter and for satellite adoption events. 

We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays. 

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
