Meet Elaine this Sunday, October 2, from Noon to 3pm at the Merriam PetSmart located at 5810 Antioch Rd, Merriam, KS 66202. Several wonderful dogs will be there looking for homes!  

Elaine is a pretty Lab mix with a beautiful chocolate and white coat. Shes still a pup at just 9 months old. She currently weighs 34 lbs.  Elaine is very friendly and loves people. Shes playful and bouncy! She loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy a doggie playmate.


ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Please visit our PETFINDER HOME PAGE at  https://kckac.petfinder.com for upcoming weekend hours at our shelter and for satellite adoption events. 

We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays. 

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
