Turtle appears to be a lab mix. Like so many unfortunate female dogs, Turtle came in pregnant with 8 pups. She also had heartworms disease, but the pups have been adopted and she has been treated and is recovering from the disease. Until then, she can be adopted but will need to be cage restricted ad walked on a leash until October 15.

HSPCs adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pets description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.
