Sweet Pea is a true example of how a loving soul can overcome a rough start in life. At 55 pounds and a little over 1-year-old, she loves to be close to her human, sleep with her foster mom, and get all the pats during playtime. She has a happy, playful puppy-like personality.

To showcase her smarts, Sweet Pea is house trained, well-behaved on a leash, and will put herself in a crate when her foster mom says, "crate." Sweet Pea loves to get outside and exercise her puppy energy out on daily walks and in enclosed yards. She sometimes doesnt realize her size when she is running around and bumping into things, so she would do best in a home with older children and/or active young to middle-aged adults.

Sweet Pea is doing great and is very healthy now thanks to the help of some amazing Southern vets and foster parents. She was rescued as a stray and required immediate medical procedures on her tail and one eye. Now, though she lost her tail and doesnt have perfect vision, she is a lovely, happy girl who is ready to find her forever home!

If you can give this amazing pup her forever home, please apply today!
