Ideal Home/Adopter: Melonie would love a quiet home. She would enjoy a fenced yard to play and chase squirrels. She can play with other dogs in a neutral place but doesnt want to share her home with another dog.

Likes: Melonie is pretty low energy and is fine with a daily walk and some play time inside or outside. She loves learning new tricks for treats. She is a whiz with puzzle toys and enjoys destroying the occasional stuffed toy.

Dislikes: Mel has some generalized anxiety and doesnt like deviating from her routine, loud noises, or chaotic environments. She will do best in a quiet home. We are working on it, but she isnt the biggest fan of car rides.

What makes this dog special: Mel is a wallflower who takes some time to show you her smart, sweet personality. She loves learning new tricks and especially likes earning treats for good behavior. Once she is comfortable, she likes playing with toys and is always up for some couch and tv time with you.

Melonies adoption fee is $195. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
