Description:
A famed heroine of southern literature is described as "high spirited, vivacious and most charming." That reminds us of our very dear Rain.

Rain has the gentlest of souls and the sweetest of hearts! This friendly, graceful young dog is 15 months old and weighs 45 pounds. She is a wonderful choice if you want to adopt a medium sized companion.

Rain enjoys exploring the shelter grounds and being close by your side on daily walks. She adores spending time with people!

She loves outings in the fenced yard where she has such a good time playing. Once Rain is done, she relaxes on the bench under the canopy to hang out and enjoy her day - preferably with you! She absolutely loves being petted and cuddled.

One of our dedicated volunteers observes: "Rain is like the comfort of your longest best friend. She loves to sit and listen to your stories and she offers advice by resting her head on your lap or sitting right next to you in the shade."

Rain recently had an outing with another volunteer who says: "Field trip with RAIN was great.
-Perfectly polite car rider.
-The kids ate on the ride and she didn’t bother them.
-She was easy on the leash, eager to explore, and content to stay with the pack.
-She enjoyed sniffing river rocks and getting her feet wet. Super calm the whole time.
10/10 good girl!"

Rain will be such a delightful companion and the devotion and love are guaranteed. She is the perfect dog to be at your side during the day and to curl up next to you at night!

We require a meet and greet if you have another canine companion to ensure compatibility.

If you are looking for a doggy best friend, Rain could be the one!
