Description:
Millie is a sweet girl who has had a bit of unfortunate luck as of late through no fault of her own - after her own passed away she has since been patiently waiting for many months to find her new family and get a second chance at life - could that be with you? She is around 6 years old and looks to possibly be a Labrador Retriever mix. She is a gentle hearted and shy girl and takes awhile to get adjusted to new people and places. She is not overly affectionate and isnt a snuggle buddy but shows her affection in subtle but meaningful ways. She prefers to observe from a distance and just be present in the moment without a lot of interaction or attention and will bring a calming presence to her future familys household. In her current foster home Millie is quiet and well behaved, is house trained, and can be left home alone without issue. She is looking for a calm home environment where she can have time and space to decompress on her own terms and work on building her confidence. She has not officially been cat tested but will likely do fine with them. She prefers to be the only dog in the home. Millie has some arthritis so will not be your rambunctious adventure partner but she gets around well and does enjoy her walks around the neighborhood. She is working on losing some weight and will need a family committed to continuing a healthy lifestyle for her.
