This adorable little Maltese mix is approx 8-9 yrs old and weighs 10 lbs
She is a very independent little girl and very precocious
She tested positive for heartworms when we rescued her and she completed the required heartworm shots, we usually find that the dogs test negative after approx 4- 6 months after treatment
She is totally blind in her left eye , her right eye had a hyper pigmented cataract and she had cataract surgery that was very successful and she now has vision in that eye
She is so happy , she runs and plays in the yard and loves to roll around on the grass
She is very well house and leash trained , she does very well with the other dogs , but keeps to herself and does not like any of the other rescues getting near her food when she’s eating, she loves sitting on your lap getting some petting and then is ready to go explore the yard
She likes hanging out in an open crate , it’s her little house and will just go in when she’s tired and just take a nap
She will do great in a home as an only dog or with one or two others close to her size and would be ideal for older or retired people

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
