Description:
Jessica was found stray in Hamilton and had been running loose for 2 years. She had a very tough life.
She had to forage and fight for her food. She had to worry about being caught by predators. Terrible way for a "prey species" to live for years....

Anyway, she was caught and is in a Kind Heart foster home.

One pic is of her living in the street, and the other is hanging out on the couch in her foster home!

She got a clean bill of health from the vet and will be spayed soon!

Super sweet girl and the only quirk she has is about her food. She will try to bite/nip when you put her food down. I suspect that is because of what she has been through.
That may get better with time...often it does...but sometimes it doesnt. Ive had many bunnies like that pass through Kind Heart, and I just place my hand over their ears and shoulders while I put the food bowl down. This does two things:
1. In bunny-speak, it says: be still. And it often changes their thoughts from "need to grab my food" to "okay, Ill wait".
2. Stops them from being able to nip/bite if they dont control the impulse.

To me, its not a problem, and since I always give them a pat when I feed them, its not even an effort.
But, shes best for someone that is not a first-time bunny owner.
Sure deserves better than being dumped by her previous owner and her sweetness WILL win you over!

$100 adoption fee includes Jessica (will be spayed at my vet), a playpen, litter box, bowls, hay, and pellets.
Homes in Jersey only, please!
