Lily Mae was our first boots on the street rescue in July of this year. When approaching her and two other dogs we found out a neighbor watched over them but their owner passed away. The daughter had placed chicken wire at the bottom of the fence so they couldn’t access the property. When we told the daughter we would like to place her for adoption so she wasn’t out on the street the daughter said she hates being in the home. Well the last we checked when the fence is closed and chicken wire surrounds the bottom of the fence she didn’t even have an opportunity to get inside :( Lily was happily picked up and carried to the van and the rest is history. Lily is 1 year old , 30 pounds and fully vetted. She is the perfect size and yes loves being picked up! She has the markings of a Doberman and mini pin in the perfect size body. Lily loves other dogs and playing, cuddling and giving kisses. She has flourished in a foster home with a fenced yard and also does great with no fence but will tug for wildlife when she sees them. Lily sleeps in bed, belly up and is housetrained. She tolerates cats and is a great eater,. A very smart girl learning commands but basic training would always benefit her. Lily is a gem and is being fostered in Wilmington MA. Our application can be found on our website on the available dogs page. Please check spam. Thank you!
