Meet Callypso!

This beautiful young girl and her siblings were picked up as part of a hoarding case a few months ago. We were asked by a neighboring shelter to help find adoptive homes for them, so here we are!

Callypso is about a year old and only about 30-32 pounds. She is incredibly sweet and loves people!

Callypso is great with other dogs, but isnt a big fan of over bearing, dominant males. She is getting better and better on a leash everytime, so we know shes a quick learner!

This little girl is going to be a great companion for nearly anyone. Shes not currently in a foster home, so we are unsure of her level of housetraining.

Callypsos adoption fee is $500 which includes her spay, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, bordatella), registered microchip, negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, and transport costs.

She is available through Paw Pals of Hale Center, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. She is currently with our rescue in Hale Center, TX. She would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Buffalo/Syracuse/Newburgh/Castleton on Hudson, NY, Chester, PA, Springfield, IL, Lansing MI, Cleveland, OH, Springfield/Richmond, VA, Halethorpe, MD, or Bedminster, NJ. For more information on how a Direct Adoption with Project Freedom Ride works or to meet this girl via video call, email

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call (FB Messenger Call, Whats App, or Google Duo). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.

Adoption application can be accessed at the link below.
