Description:
5/13/22: Shelby is super sweet and very social. She is loving, playful and had fun chasing and fetching the ball outside. She did her bathroom business immediately upon exiting the shelter! She looks like a Boxer in her mix and has the most beautiful coat of fur and cutest spots on her tongue! Shelby loves treats and will sit on command and wait patiently until you give her the treat as a reward and she takes them gently from your hand. She is good on the leash and loves lots of affection and will even more in return. Based on my experience with her, I would guess she will make a great couch cuddler and a great hiking buddy based on her experience in our hiking buddies program. Not sure how this super smiley, happy, perky but calm girl has been missed. Shes waiting on a family or individual to be her best pals. Wont you come meet Shelby and see what she has to offer?

From hiking buddy:
Took Shelby on a little hike with us on 4/1 and she did great! Super sweet and great on the leash, does not pull at all! She didnt let other doggies say hi to her while on the trail, but she was not mean. She would do best as an only dog. She walked up to many people to say hi so she is very social with people! Overall, Shelby is a very sweet, low-energy dog!
