Holly (Gina)

In shelter Dog

Decatur, GA, 30035
Pet name:
Holly (Gina)
Mixed Breed
Coat length:
Holly is solid to her core: solidly lovable, solidly loyal, solidly good. She adores her human friends and wants nothing more that to be near you, preferably tucked up under your arm for an extended snuggle. She has a Masters degree in being a Velvet Love Potato. Thats a thing. Look it up.

Holly is a dog who has been well-loved, and she really longs to feel that connection again. Shes a joyful, polite, social lady, and shes been an easy guest at PAWS, making instant friends with our team and volunteers and anyone who looks in her direction. Holly really *needs* to love you. So, youll need to be good with being deeply loved.

Holly recently had to come back to PAWS because she and her familys other dog were having moments of not getting along. Theyd do well 95% of the time, but then would get into a scuffle. Holly adored the young child in the home, but the occasional scuffles created a situation that was not safe for a young child. Aside from these moments, Hollys family says she was a dream in their home, and it was really, really hard to make this decision to let us rehome her.

So, because of the issues with the other dog, were recommending Holly be the only dog in her home. At the shelter, she is able to pass other dogs without any issues. She is house-trained and able to walk politely on leash. Holly would love to have children in her life but would also be content and happy with someone affectionate and social like she is. We cannot recommend Holly enough. This girl is a love.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
