Description:
Hello I am Georgie! I came into rescue due to unforeseen circumstances with my family. They loved me very much. I am now looking for another family to love and be loyal to. I am a rare breed and was breed to be a livestock guard dog.
There for I bark at everything at the other side of the fence at my foster family. I am also weary of strangers. When I first came to my foster family’s house I hid in the corner and would try to sneak to smell around while they were in the other room. I bonded to my foster dog brother first. We love to run around in the yard together. I then bonded to my foster mother but it still took a day or two until I let her approach me. I also live with a 4 year old boy and I do well with him. I haven’t had any accidents in the house. I love to go on walks in fact when I don’t want to go in my room or come inside my foster mom puts the leash on me and I will go wherever she takes me. I known how to sit and I’m still working on come. I also have a favorite toy elephant that will come with me to my forever home. When you meet me please know that I will be unsure of you right away but if you give me time please know I will come out of my shell and be very loyal to your family. I can jump a 5 foot fence but have been fine with a 6 foot wood fence. However my foster mom thinks I would do best with a country home. Please do research on my breed and see if I would be the right fit for you and your family.
