Ivy is looking for a home who is willing to earn her trust and be patient as she adjusts to her furever family.

Ivy came from a hoarding situation extremely scared. When she arrived she would growl and not let you touch her. She grew to trust her foster mom and is now very loving with her. She loves to sit in her foster moms lap. Ivy still dislikes the other members of the household. They are unable to touch her. Ivy will bark and charge at them. Ivy is fostered with both dogs and cats and gets along fine with them.

Ivy will require a secure area of her own until she learns to trust her new person. She will use training pads in the meantime. She will need patience and time which could be months.

Because Ivy seems to choose her person a single person home is probably best. Although challenging, helping Ivy conquer her fear will be an incredible feeling.

If you are interested in Ivy please apply at or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
