About me: Ellis has experienced a lot in the past year; she and her brother suffered severe injuries after
they encountered a porcupine at 6 months of age. Ellis joined the AHCR family and began her long
recovery with the help of medical care, a loving foster family and slow healing. She has several mild
scars left on her face from the damage the quills have caused, but they don’t display her sweet, caring,
and laid-back personality. Ellis can be spunky as she is a climber and has shown her skill by scaling a
chain link fence; she continues to learn her manners and obey a little more each day. Ellis enjoys playing
with other dogs but is also very content playing by herself. Her favorites include going on walks, taking
naps, playing with toys, and belly rubs. Ellis’ personality continues to change each day and she is ready
to grow with her new furever family.
AHCR cannot guarantee any breed/possible breed of the dogs in our care or the size they will be full grown.
