Wookie is approximately 16 months old, healthy, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations and flea, tick & heartworm preventative.

Wookie is a high energy, outgoing girl who spends most of her day playing and running with her brother, Yoda. Wookie and Yoda were homeless and emaciated when we rescued them off the street; however, this pair has proven to be extremely resilient, happy, and well-adjusted. They have developed a tight bond and continue to cuddle together and show concern for one another to this day.

Wookie gets along with every person she meets. This girl is no wallflower, and whether its cuddle time or play time, shell be sure to let you know exactly what she wants. She gets along well with the 7 other dogs we have here, although, sometimes she doesn’t understand that the older dogs don’t want to play as much as she does. 

Wookie is a sassy teenager who is very intelligent and always ready to play, explore, or learn. She is very treat motivated and loves to engage in training exercises (stimulating the mind). 

Like her brother, Yoda, she has a tendancy to be protective and will react to perceived threats by barking.   Wookie is still working on some of her manners (basic obedience) but we’re confident she’ll be able to conquer her urges with more time. 

Wookie is very affectionate, loves cuddles, car rides and exploring new places.
