Description:
Happy has been saved from Polk County Florida Animal Shelter. Sadly, like hundreds of other unwanted dogs in that county, Happy was on the urgent list and would be euthanized. One of our amazing foster families volunteered to foster Happy until she found her forever home, so this precious girl is in Maine!

HAPPY, 4-year-old, spayed Cur-type dog, Approx 35 lbs. HW-. UTD on vaccinations.

I’m not really sure why I don’t have a furever home yet. I’m pretty, sweet, polite, potty trained, house trained, crate trained. I’m great with kids & other dogs too.
My likes: CHEESE (I don’t beg but if the cheese container is opened, I will appear) running, playing with medium & large dogs, snuggles, tennis balls, car rides.
I’m still learning to swim but would do awesome with a life vest. I like jumping in the pool to play with my foster family and trying to rescue them even though they claim they don’t need my help.
My foster mom says I can stay as long as I like because I’m such a good girl, I sleep in my crate and night but adore when she or her kids snuggle me on the couch or in bed and I occasionally give very gentle kisses.
I get along with everyone I’ve met so far, but I prefer women. Would you be interested in adopting a good sweet girl like me?
