Hi, Im Butters!

I am a very fun adult female rabbit who has orange and white fur and brown eyes. I am a Palomino mix rabbit, weigh 6.30 pounds, am litterbox trained, and was spayed and microchipped on 09/07/2022. Im pretty picky about how my cage is arranged, and Im not afraid to tell you off for trying to move things by batting at you with my paws! Once I am out of my enclosure, all I ever want is pets and affection. I can sit for hours getting ear-rubs! I do okay with handling, but I mostly tolerate it rather than enjoy it. I would do best in a family with children over 10 years old. I must be adopted to an inside home. Inside "house rabbits" have a 6-10 year life span. My adoption fee is $80, and includes a certificate for a free vet exam. The staff here requires that all pets are adopted into an indoor only home. If you have little to no experience with Rabbits, thats okay! The staff will take plenty of time to teach you all about me and my care! They will also leave you with tons of resources to help you while I get settled into your home!

I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is based on my behavior observed while in the shelters care. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.

Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our rabbits. Visual breed identification in rabbits can be unreliable and for most rabbits we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each rabbit as an individual and do our best to describe each of our rabbits based on personality, not breed label.
