Muneca came to us with a broken leg that had to be amputated. This does not slow her down one bit. She loves to run and would love an active family who gets her out regularly for exercise and playtime. Muneca is also skilled at settling. Muneca is a very loving and gentle soul. She loves cuddling up on the couch with you. Muneca is very, very smart and is great with training. We are working in the foster home on the command "wait" and "stay" often with her because she just wants to go everywhere with you. For her own safety, it is best that she learns to "wait" before exiting and entering doors with you and that she "stays" back from the door when she will be staying at home by herself. Muneca is very good at going to her "spot" in the living room when asked and is getting better about "staying" in her spot when people come to the door. Muneca would do best with a calm, quiet environment where she can exercise a number of times throughout the day. Muneca is somewhat protective of her family. However, she rarely barks and is not aggressive towards people. Muneca will do best as the only pet in her home. She does have a high prey instinct, so she has to be leashed at all times while outside. A strongly-fenced yard would be best if she does go off leash. She is a petite pitty, but is still extremely strong. Muneca would love nothing more than to share your life with you. Please contact the shelter to schedule a visit with her.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
