Poppy is peppy friendly girl that came in with a wound on her neck and some very thin fur and both have healed quite nicely with some medication and TLC from our shelter volunteers/staff.
She has a life of the party attitude towards life and is happy to cruise around town taking in all the sniffs or toss a toy around in the yard. Poppy is just as much fun as her name and enjoys spending time with her human friends. She loves nothing more than to get out of the shelter kennel and embrace the world outdoors. She loves going for walks, along with love and scratches as her fur has been growing back quite nicely. Poppy is working on her manners but she is still a young gal so training for her will be super fun. We think Poppy would love โ€œsniffโ€ games or scent work to keep that mind busy. Poppy can be a bit aloof with other dogs, and appears to enjoy the company of female dogs more than male dogs. We always require a meet and greet with a resident dog to make sure it is a good fit.
Poppy really deserves a home to give her many spa days, a yard to enjoy her days and a comfy bed to rest and recharge at night. She has become a shelter volunteer(s) favorite. Please come on down and meet this lady so her dreams of a furever home will come trueโ€ฆ.
She is sponsored by our friend at Buffalo Barkery for a reduced adoption,

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
