Description:
Hi world! My name is Sloane and I am a one and half year old female Pit Bull Terrier. I have a beautiful kind of gray-colored coat. I know that I have a look of perpetual confusion on my pretty face and Im a little confused, but its just my look. Ive been told I have eyes too.

I weigh around 55 pounds. I love playing with other dogs. There are all kinds of dogs in my foster home and I get along with each of them. I am learning to be an indoor dog. Its been kind of hard getting used to things like walking the floor...I keep sliding. Im learning my house training and I am good in my crate.

Im looking for a home that will help me continue to learn how to be a good girl in the house. Plus give me time to adjust and teach me new manners. I saw some kids at an adoption event and I really liked the kids. Everyone said I was really sweet with them. I have not been around cats so I dont know how I feel about them.

If you are interested in adopting Sloane please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a socially distanced meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
