In shelter Dog

Charlotte, NC, 28215
Pet name:
Pit Bull Terrier
White / Cream
Coat length:
Breed: Pit Bull Mix
Age: 2 years
Size: Large (58 lbs)
House-Trained: Yes

This awesome, food motivated girl is looking for an active family to keep her in tip top shape! Once she has met her daily step goal, she turns to mush and will snuggle with you on the couch (preferably with her peanut butter filled bone). She walks well with her gentle leader, but could benefit from continued leash training in her forever home.

She is dog friendly, but enjoys roughhousing and would do best in a home who can keep up with her play style. Given her energy level, we do feel like she would do best in a home with children over the age of 8, though if you have durable mini humans under 8, she does well with children in general. She is not a fan of her crate and may need an indestructible crate, but she is currently taking medication to help with this.

She can be vocal, so she would not be suited for joint complex living (no apartments, townhouses, etc).

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
