Description:
Peggy Sue is a 6 year old pittie/collie/??? mix who is looking for a quiet, relaxed home. She is very shy at first around new people but quickly accepts them. Peggy is still learning how to be a dog so she likes to have “her safe spot” either the open crate, a dog bed or couch. She needs a patient owner that will let her take the extra time to warm up to her new surroundings and people. Once she’s relaxed she is super sweet and trusting of her humans. Peggy will not be your active hiker; she’s looking for a quiet home that will let her nap on the couch or a dog bed. Peggy is good with other dogs however is not really interested in playing. Little kid energy is too much for Peggy so teenagers + only. Her ideal home would include patient humans willing to work with her shyness, owners looking for a mellow, less active dog, a small dog to follow around that doesn’t necessarily need a playmate (she’s good with all dogs but seems to be more interested in small dogs), and a fenced in yard (Peggy likes knowing her boundaries and it helps her feel safe). Peggy is crate trained, housebroken, spayed and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. Interested in this sweet girl? FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
