Peggy Sue is a 6 year old pittie/collie/??? mix who is looking for a quiet, relaxed home. She is very shy at first around new people but quickly accepts them. Peggy is still learning how to be a dog so she likes to have “her safe spot” either the open crate, a dog bed or couch. She needs a patient owner that will let her take the extra time to warm up to her new surroundings and people. Once she’s relaxed she is super sweet and trusting of her humans. Peggy will not be your active hiker; she’s looking for a quiet home that will let her nap on the couch or a dog bed. Peggy is good with other dogs however is not really interested in playing. Little kid energy is too much for Peggy so teenagers + only. Her ideal home would include patient humans willing to work with her shyness, owners looking for a mellow, less active dog, a small dog to follow around that doesn’t necessarily need a playmate (she’s good with all dogs but seems to be more interested in small dogs), and a fenced in yard (Peggy likes knowing her boundaries and it helps her feel safe). Peggy is crate trained, housebroken, spayed and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. Interested in this sweet girl?
