PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Luna is running out of time!
Luna was an owner surrender whose circumstances changed and could no longer care for her. She has been in the shelter for over 2 months and is becoming very kennel stressed. Whereas she is awesome around kids she is not dog/cat friendly. She would need to be your only pet. Dogs that need to be an only pet seem more difficult to adopt out. She is fine on leash but tends to get defensive when off leash. Doggy play groups and dog parks would not be Lunas thing. Again, she absolutely loves people and kids!
Luna is a young girl with a zest for life and just needs a chance to find the right family. She is one of the sweetest dogs shelter staff have met. She appears to be house-trained as there have been no accidents in her kennel in between outings. She does not appear to have received any training and would greatly benefit from a fear-free training round of classes. She is smart and eager to learn!

Please come down to the shelter and meet Luna....If she is set up for success (time to decompress, training and no other pets) your family will have a great canine companion.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
