Bedford is a 3 year old pitmix. He needs a very understanding family. Bedford was found outside a very small rural shelter in NC, dragging a chain that was embedded into his neck. The vet did a thorough checkup and he is healthy but has cigar or cigarette burns that may never fully heal on the back of his ears. Despite all this Bedford still has trust in people even though he is constantly being failed. He is learning that affection is good, he has done extremely well at his fosters. They said he is quickly learning what and what not to do and what is appropriate indoor behavior. Bedford needs someone knowledgeable about dogs.
