Gertie is a 9 week old staffy lab mix who currently weighs around 13 pounds. This. Girl. Is. So. Smart. She is almost completely potty trained (any accidents are just her foster family not getting there fast enough), she runs right into her "house" (her crate) when you ask her to, and she comes when you call her, knows her name (along with several other versions like Gert, Birdie, Bird, Gertie Birdie ... you get the idea), sit, and shake! She loves to play with other dogs but is also happy to entertain herself with bones and toys. And her absolute favorite thing ever is to snuggle up on the couch with you and a fuzzy blanket. Gertie would do fine in a home with cats and children as long as her family understands that puppies have sharp chompers and require patience while learning their manners.
