Peach is looking for her new forever home. She is a loving dog, her favorite past times are snuggles, fetching a ball and her Kong bones. She does well in training and is inquisitive around other dogs. We think Peach would do best with no small children in the home because she loves her person and shows some guarding. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Other than the blindness in one eye, she is healthy. Hello, my name is Peach! I am 3-4 year old female pitbull mix. I was left abandoned in the middle of a busy road. I was scared and running for my life. But I was rescued! Now I am looking for my forever home. I spent many days starving and unloved but now I weigh around 70lbs! I am going blind in my right eye and sometimes I bump into things or get scared if I see shadows. When I get scared I never show aggression. I love people of all shapes and sizes even the extra small ones, but sometimes I jump. I am always very excited to see people and be shown affection. With the right introduction I would be great with another dog thats high energy just like me. I would not be a good fit for a family with small animals as sometimes I want to chase them. I am crate trained, house trained, I do well riding in the car and on my leash. My crate is my safe space and I always need it available in case I get overwhelmed. Sometimes when Im bored I like to chew so I need toys around all the time. Tennis balls are my favorite! This year for Christmas all I want is a home to call my own, a bed to snuggle into, and a human to always reassure me that I am safe.
