Colors:

Adult
Description:
What miss Layla may lack in sophistication (she reportedly couched up a loogie and thoroughly enjoyed eating it), she makes up for it by having an excellent temperament! She loves to roll around and scratch her back, receive belly rubs, and goes nuts for toys (She retrieves like a pro)! At this point, she may like her toys even more than her food! She does wonderful while getting a bath and is quite gentle despite her plump size. Shes a brilliant dog, already knowing how to "sit", "lay", and "shake"! Were sure you could easily have a little circus performer on your hands in no time! If youre looking for a true best friend, Layla here is your gal!

Occasionally the dogs in our care are able to participate in adoption events at other locations. While they may not get adopted at these outings, it is still a GREAT way for us to learn more about each dog outside of the shelter setting. This dog in particular recently took part in our "clear the shelters" event at Petsmart. They were able to meet new dogs & people alike, all while being in a completely new environment. That can be a lot for any dog to handle, but this dog, Layla, did AMAZING. She was incredibly well-behaved in the store and really was just wanting to "hang out" with the people. She let kids pet all over him and seemed to really enjoy the affection! We believe she would do great in any home, as she has a wonderful temperament and behavior.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
