STAR - A#44099880Pictures and Video: Star -- https://youtu.be/JbdfUo_zvKAIntake Type: (3/31) Owner surrenderBehavior Observation:(4/1) Per Staff -- Approached front of kennel, took treats from handlers hand and was easily leashed to exit. Pulled moderately on leash until urinated and defecated and then only pulled slightly. In run, initially explored but returned to handler for pets. Slightly stiff when initially touched but relaxed. Showed no interest in toys. Returned to kennel and removed leash easily.(3/31) Per Previous Owner -- protective, active, aggressive to strangers, hyperactive, playful, jumps on people, goes on walks, fine with owners niece before incident. **Owner emphasized that she is a very good dog, he just cant keep her since she bit his young niece and has now bitten his nephew**++Bite Details++Nephew was in the house, Star was coming in from the backyard. She knows the Nephew and has played with him before, but when she came in the house she ran right to him and bit him on the calf. Kevin was trying to get away but she kept going after him, biting multiple times. Level 3a - the dog bit his calf and then kept going after him, but since he was wearing pants he just got some very minor scratches. No medical attention needed. Prior Incident -- The owners 10 y.o. niece was playing with the dog in the backyard. The dog jumped and bit the nieces arm, and latched on to her jacket. Level 2 bite, did not break skin. Seems like the dog was very over-aroused.This animal is currently available from foster care through ACCT Phillys Adoptions Programs.
