Hi friends, Queena here. I am a smaller-medium sized pitty who is a fun-loving girl. I love the summer and playing in water. I especially love the hose and running around the yard with it. I also like my baby pool in the y ard. I enjoy my time outside, enjoy playing with toys and would love to be someones roller-blading or jogging companion. I also love snuggling.

I have a home history of living with young children. I stayed with a temp foster for a few weeks and made fast friends with their toddler. I love every human that I meet and am very friendly. I am still working on not jumping up.

I would prefer to be the only pet. I failed my cat test and my foster mom says I get a little too excited. I maybe ok with some dogs with slow introductions, but I tend to be reactive initially. I seem to do better with wiggly male dogs who dont take me very seriously.

I am a very smart girl and I love my toys. I am so gentle playing with them. If you ask me where my toy is, I will go find my toy and bring it right to you. I like playing fetch, but I am fine with just a few throws and then taking a break. I know sit and lay and can walk nicely on a leash, but would benefit from continued training to be the best girl I can be. I really want to please, and LOVE being told I am a good girl.

I am great in my kennel. I dont love going in, but easily will, and am generally quiet. In the morning when it is time for food I bark, and I occasionally bark outside, but I am usually not very loud.

I listen intently to everything my foster mom says and have the BEST head tilts and facial expressions. She loves snuggling and has been a champ for nail trims, baths, etc.

Queena weighs 50 lbs and is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
