Meet Scarlet!

Scarlet is an adorable pocket pittie who landed herself on the euthanasia list an overcrowded shelter in Houston, TX. Scarlet currently weighs about 45 lbs. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find a family to call her own!

Scarlets foster mom lovingly refers to her as little wiggle boo! Scarlet is SUPER friendly and doesnt meet a stranger! She will instantly become your best friend. Her mood is always happy & upbeat with a tail that never stops wagging!

Scarlet is always up for an adventure! Whether it be just a walk around the block, a hike or a car ride, Scarlet makes for the perfect adventure buddy.

Scarlet has a moderate energy level. Shes down for an adventure, but will also chill in her crate when the time comes. Due to her energy level, we would recommend a home with children ages 8 and over as to not knock them over with her wiggly butt.

Scarlet is crate trained and fully potty trained. She does well in her crate and thats currently where she hangs out when her foster mom has to step out to run errands or go to work. Scarlet does not have any potty accidents inside the home.

This little pocket sized girl just wants to please and play!

Scarlet is tolerant of other dogs. She can walk past them on walks and they can be in the same room together, but she would prefer to have her people to herself and not have to share with a furry sibling.

This sweet beauty is also wicked smart! She knows basic commands and is ready to learn more and eager to please!

Scarlet loves going out for walks and her excitement can cause her to pull a little. She doesnt constantly pull and will stop to smell the roses, but she can definitely use some continued work in this department.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
