Hi, Im Cali! I weigh in at about 45 lbs. and am a ball of energy! I have been waiting since January, yes January, for a FOSTER or FOREVER FAMILY! In the meantime, Im stuck in boarding.

I am looking for an active family - I LOVE to run and play fetch with my ball! I need someone willing to continue my training, even if its just fun tricks. Im so smart and Ive learned a lot already, but need to stay committed for the best long-term results my foster mom says! I am sweet and aim to please my humans.

When Im allowed a slow introduction to new people I do great and am able to focus on the manners Ive learned about impulse control with jumping. Sometimes I can get a little too excited when playing, but my foster mom and I have been working so hard to refocus and settle - Im doing fantastic!!

Although I can be dog selective, I have made dog friends during my time with GRASP with slow introductions. Once we are playing together we have fun - or at least I do! Some dog friends may be overwhelmed by my energetic ways and find it socially awkward, so I need a very patient dog match, or could be queen of the castle! While a senior dog, may not be the best, I play pretty well with small dogs!

Ideally, I need a home with a fenced-in yard, but could be successful with a truly active family. Any children need to be 12+ years old, but I have so much fun with kids who know how to follow along with my training commands!
