Sunny is a super friendly young adult dog who loves to play with her foster family’s other small dogs. She also loves to play in the water sprinkler and happily soaks up all the attention she can get from her foster mom! 

Sunny is a petite girl, weighing in at only 44 pounds full grown (a "pocket pittie"). She was a stray who showed up at the home of her current foster family and was rescued by them. She has been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccinations. Sunny tested negative for heart worms in July of 2022 and has been on heart worm prevention since then. 

As best we can tell, Sunny is deaf. Our vet believes it is hereditary, so she has dealt with her condition all her life. Her foster mom reports that Sunny responds to hand signals and doesnt let her disability interfere at all with her enjoyment of life.
