Description:
Meet Peyton!
This sweet mama came to us as a stray after being found alone without her puppies. Peyton is such a loving girl and just wants to sit with her humans and snuggle. She walks wonderful on the leash and enjoys spending time outside. Peyton does get some separation anxiety, therefore she would do best in a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time. She is very vocal when she is lonely and sometimes howls because she misses her human! Peyton does not like crates and is known to try to bust out. She would do best in a home where she is free to roam. She does know to go potty outside and is not messy in her space at the facility, although she may need a little help to adjust to a home environment. This sweet girl is selective with her doggie friends and will need proper introduction if you have other pets. Peyton is a sweet snuggle bug that would love nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch with you and give love. Peyton is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, Apollo covers treatment until she is negative. She is approximately 4 years old, weighs 50 pounds, and is located at our rescue facility in Justin, TX.
