Weve got a couple of twinsies! Iris is almost a carbon copy of our girl Dolly (also in our Pawsitive Change Prison program). She looks so much like Dolly its hard to tell the two apart and with both in the same prison it definitely made things interesting. 

Iris like so many black pitbull type dogs didnt stand much of a chance at our city shelter. She has such a fun energy we knew we had to give her a chance. She loves to play and loves other dogs so our Pawsitive Change Prison program at North Kern state prison we thought would be the perfect fit! 

Unfortunately Iris did not thrive in prison. It was overwhelming for her and we do our best to do whats right for each dog. Iris has gone back to our ranch and is now looking for her perfect forever home. Shed love a future home with another fun dog and a family that will keep her active and engaged. She wouldnt be a good fit for a home with children as her energy would be a bit too much.
