Description:
Name: Penelope
Nickname: Penny. Penn. P.
Breed: Pitbull
Age: ~ 7 years
Current Weight: ~ 40 lbs.
Let’s get right to it: Penelope was adopted as a puppy (fka Paris) and her family needs to find her a new home as she is uncomfortable, and has snapped at the toddler in the home. She needs a very specific home due to her uncomfortability around children, resource guarding, reactivity towards other animals (she is not dog friendly and very leash reactive upon seeing a dog) and the fact that she cannot be startled when sound asleep.
Key Descriptors: Funny. Quirky. Sassy. Strong-willed.
Energy level: Higher
Cuddly or independent: Independent. Though on a rare occasion you’ll get some nighttime cuddles.
What makes us laugh: Her proclivity to do her zoomies on the bed, usually pre-bedtime or post coming in from outside in the snow or rain.
What she loves: A good back rub or butt scratches with your feet. Food. Sunbathing. Hard treats. Partaking on neighborhood watch.
Watch out: She’s a sneaky counter surfer. Has been caught stealing ?a ?pizza slice, a stick of butter, and a cheeseburger.
Stranger danger: Nope. She’s meeting you excitedly head on and paws up. Usually hello barks accompany this greeting.
Security system rating: A+. You’ll know when someone is at the door, around the house, or around the street corner.
What she knows: Sit. Lay.
Dogs: Pass. She wants to be queen b!
Cats: Nope
Kids: No thanks!
Crate-trained: Yes, but has proven trustworthy to not need it.
House-trained: 100%

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
