Maxi is one of PACCs long stay pups, and while we all adore this sweet dog, wed love it even more if she would get out of here and into a forever home! When Maxi first came to the shelter, she spent a little time in the PACC clinic getting some TLC, and she then bounced around a bit. We hoped that she had found her forever home, but sadly shes back with us once again. In a former home, Maxi was reportedly housebroken on a regular potty schedule. Her people described her as a very sweet and loving girl who likes attention and is a great companion. Maxi walks well on leash- a little excited at first but then settles into a nice stroll. Shes very treat motivated and eager to please, and seems familiar with getting in and out of the car. Shell happily hop right in when its time to head home! Maxi was playful and energetic when meeting other dogs in playgroup, but in a home Maxi prefers to be your one and only so she can have all of your attention for herself! Heres what some of our volunteers have said about this sassy lady: Maxi knows sit, look, and were working on touch. She comes when I call her name and is very attentive. Maxi is a very sweet girl whose tail was wagging during most of the time we spent together. Maxi is a SWEETIE. She enjoys a romp around the lake and afterward she doesnt mind a little sit down and chill next to the lake to watch the ducks. Shes also gentle with treats. Maxi is a true hidden gem and would make for a great addition to the right home. Ask about Maxi today!
