Mimi is a sweet, shy little lady who first came to the shelter in 2019. She spent some time in a foster home where we learned that she was housebroken, crate trained, and very very affectionate and snuggly with those that she loves and trusts. One foster said that shes a couch potato, loves chewing on hard toys, and knows sit and paw. Mimi was adopted to what was a very tumultuous situation, and bounced between several different people and homes since then. Shes back with us at PACC, but really needs to find a stable, loving forever home this time. Shes spent far too much time in the shelter system at this point and needs and deserves to find some real stability and a true forever home. Mimi recently spent time in a foster home where she was housebroken, lived with a 12 year old child and was described as sweet, friendly, cuddly and playful. Mimi is a big cuddler and very affectionate. She likes to be next to a person in the house even if it is just laying down next to your hand to touch it. Its as if she just wants to know that you are okay. She will sit in your lap if you let her. She will lay her head on your lap, chest, and cuddle in whatever way she can. She is a loyal, obedient, and loving. Her ideal home will have a very comfy couch!- Former Foster Mimi has lived with other dogs and with kiddos, though she may do best with older kids who understand that she needs to feel safe and sometimes needs to take things slowly. During her last behavioral evaluation at the shelter, Mimi was a bit nervous and kept to herself, but was tolerant of the other dogs. She is looking for a home without small dogs. Mimi is a sensitive girl who really struggles in the shelter environment. She needs to find a quiet, loving home with a family who snuggle and cuddle her and who will be committed to her for life.
