Meet Sally. About a week ago, Sally was found on the streets of the Bronx by a high schooler. She was emaciated, scarred, and so weak, on the brink of death, but luckily the selfless student reached out and help was eventually found. When we were sent her desperate plea, we knew that, without rescue, she would be brought to the ASPCA and there was no chance of her making it out alive. We found a foster, committed to her, and now she has begun her journey to recovery. Sally has spent an unknown amount of time, months or even years, excruciatingly neglected. Every bone in her body is visible and has barely enough strength to walk. Day by day, with time, love, and patience from her foster, Sally shows improvement every single day. She s caring, affectionate, gentle, and full of hope for the future. She is a wise girl, and absolutely beautiful to us. She will need a few months to fully recover and receive medical attention before she can be adopted, but nothing would make us happier if a future adoptive home could line up for her ♥ To adopt, call Lisa: 914-469-6605 In foster (Putnam Valley NY)
