Description:
Peach is a sweet and goofy girl, but she does take a while to fully warm up to new people. At only 2 years old, it is apparent that she had never learned to properly interact with humans or other animals. Peach is incredibly dog social, but she sometimes has difficulty reading other dogs play cues. She also has possession aggression with other dogs and due to guarding tendencies, we feel she would do best in a quiet home as an only dog. She has passed a preliminary cat test. She walks well on a leash but does not like to meet other dogs while leashed due to barrier issues. She is kennel trained, however, she has weather phobia and will try to escape her crate to be near her people. Peach is in need of a 6 foot privacy fence as she is capable of climbing a 6ft chain link fence. Given her trust issues and collar sensitivities, we feel she would be best in a home with older or no children. Peach is wanting to find that perfect family who is willing to take a chance on a young broken soul and give her the time and space she needs to build up trust. Once she trusts you, she will reward you with loyal companionship, a strong bond, the absolute best snuggles in the world.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
