Rainier is a sweetheart that loves to cuddle. She makes eye contact, listens well and comes to a whistle. Rainier is always up for romping with other dogs, even if they are bigger and older. She will let you know if something needs to be addressed, but doesnt bark for no reason. At 4 months, she is 90% potty trained, learning to sit, leave it, stay and heel. Rainier enjoys going on hikes, preferring to stay close, sticks and balls. Her crate is her bedroom. Rainier has had the priviledge to be in a foster home since the McKinney fire, so please call the ranch to make arrangements to meet her.

Puppy adoptions are $300. When you adopt a puppy from Rescue Ranch, she/he will have been raised in a home environment with one of our puppy foster families. Puppies will have been socialized to people and children, often other dogs, maybe cats.

Before going home all of our puppies will have at least their first two puppy shots for parvo and distemper as well as other common illnesses. There will be a puppy wellness exam at about 8 weeks with our veterinarians at the Ashland Animal Medical Hospital.

At 6-7 months, we will ensure through our veterinarians that they receive: All their adult vaccines including rabies. Deworming if necessary. Receive a microchip and be registered with Found Animals (https://www.foundanimals.org/). And they will be spayed or neutered by our veterinarian or the adopting family provides Rescue Ranch with proof of spay-neuter from their veterinarian.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
