Description:
Meredith is a beautiful red sable Pomeranian girl. She snuck into rescue with a big secret. She was about to have her last litter of puppies! Meredith spent her first few months in rescue much like other moms of newborns; too busy focused completely on her pups to really do things for herself or try to learn any new habits. Now that her pups are gone and Meredith is an empty nester, she has shifted her focus to learning new things for herself and is transforming into a real family pet! We are told Meredith is nine years young but this little firebrand has a lot of pep in her step!

Meredith has learned to walk on a leash and is pretty well house trained. She is starting to value relationships with people and wants to always be in the same room or within eye sight of her foster mom (This is a big deal for Meredith!). Though shes not quite brave enough yet to want to be a lap dog, she hangs out in her kennel. She is enjoying pets and engages in playful running outside in the yard.

Meredith gets along very well with the other dogs. She is a little shy with humans but is getting braver every day!

Merediths ideal forever family will have plenty of time to take walks. A fenced yard is not required, but would be helpful for making frequent trips outside. She responds well to positive reinforcement and is learning that she much prefers loving attention to treats or other reward systems. She is very smart and will make a great lifelong friend.

Meredith has recently been spayed, received a dental cleaning, and all of her vaccinations. The fee to adopt Meredith is $250. She qualifies for the Senior for Senior Discount, which means if the adoptir is 65 years or older, the adoption fee is $50 less
