***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. Please go to https://www.aparn.org/adoption-application/ to submit your application.*** Tiny pug cuteness alert! Now that I’ve got your attention, I’m Chantilly and I LOVE to chat! Feeling isolated because of covid? I’ll talk to you. I’ll let you know if I’m happy, if I’m upset, if I want something, if I want you to come to bed with me, or if I’d like snuggles. My vocalizations are a source of endless amusement, according to my foster family. For fun I’ll sunbathe in the backyard, explore in the yard and/or play with dog toys occasionally. I don’t eat rocks, nor shoes nor socks, so no worries about that! I currently live with 3 other pugs and they’re fine. We just kind of ignore each other. I eat my own food and don’t bother them about theirs. We all go to bed in our own crates. My household also has an 11 and 13-year-old humans and we get along really well. I also love meeting new people. I’m an easy-going, good-natured gal! As I mentioned earlier, I’m a tiny pug and tall stairs may be hard for me to navigate. Plus I’ve got a little bit of arthritis in my hips. I can move about without difficulty but if you want to carry me from room to room? I’m game! I love anything that brings me close to my humans, snuggles tight to your chest sounds wonderful. I wasn’t feeling too well when I arrived at APARN but they’ve taken such good care of me and I’m feeling fantastic now. Just awaiting my new home! I nap most of the day so I’d be fine left alone if you need to go to work. Just as long as you snuggle and talk to me when you get home ? Hope to meet you soon! ***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
