Pumpkin is part of AHAS’s rehabilitation program, which stabilizes and retrains dogs who come to us with behavioral issues. We want the very best for all of the dogs and therefore recommend adopters interested in Pumpkin, participate in the private training workshops we offer to help prepare dog and owner for a smooth transition and happy forever home!

Meet Pumpkin, a very petite 30 pound, beautiful female redbone coonhound. This girl is looking for a home that will understand her unique needs. Pumpkin is a sensitive girl and is very scared of storms. She also has separation anxiety. She takes medicine to help her relax, but she does best when she can have a dedicated safe spot or just be with the person/people she trusts. With time, she has gained confidence in her foster home and is doing much better. We encourage potential adopters to work with us to ensure that we can help her succeed in her forever home.

This girl is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats. She is respectful around kitties. She has been around small and large dogs and is super playful and occasionally bossy.

Pumpkin is looking for a home that will give her guidance and leadership so she can feel secure and confident. This girl is ready to go to a home and give kisses

Pumpkin shines when she has people that help show her the appropriate way to act in situations- when to give kisses (and she LOVES to give kisses to her fav people!) and when to trust a new person. We are happy to work with interested adopters and Pumpkin and share all the many things we adore about this girl! Ask us for more info!

Pumpkin is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and housebroken. We require an adoption application, home visit, and adoption fee. Want more info? Email mastiffmojo@msn.com. Thanks!
