Meet Cleopatra!

Cleopatra is the perfect dog for families with kids and who love larger dogs. She was brought into the shelter, timid, heartworm positive and sick. However, after spending time with her foster family and visits to the vet for treatment, Cleopatra is a different and happy dog.

Cleopatra is game for whatever lifestyle you have. Want a dog that will sleep for 20 hours out of the day while you work from home? Thats her. Need a dog who will last several hours at home alone if you work in an office? Thats her. Want a dog who is happy just to sit on the couch in your lap or next to you while you pet her? Cleopatra is the perfect couch buddy.

Cleopatra is completely housebroken and has never shown destructive behavior when left alone in the house. She LOVES kids and is extremely gentle with them (both toddlers and elementary school) and slept with her fosters 9-year old son in his room every night. She believes her purpose in life is to be with kids and loves her fosters kids more than anything. Cleopatra is very good meeting new people and very gentle with them. She wasnt trained at all when she was surrendered, but now knows Sit and Come and understands other commands, as well.

Like many Great Pyrenees mixes, Cleopatra loves to bark to let you know things are going on, but shes learning and being trained that she doesnt have to stay on alert all the time. Cleopatra is very good with large, respectful dogs. She does better with slow introductions with smaller dogs or dogs who are excitable, but after a while has learned to coexist well with one of her foster brothers like that. She is around 2 years old.

Cleopatra will be the perfect family dog and has so much love to give.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
