Description:
Meet Ellie!
Ellie started out with us as a young pup. She was adopted out, only to be dumped at a shelter in another state. As soon as we heard that she was at another shelter, we brought Ellie back into our care. From what we have gathered from the shelter accompanied with our own experience with her, it is because she needs a home without other dogs. She is extremely dog selective, therefore she would need a very slow and supervised introduction to any other dogs. This being said, she has made friends with a Great Dane at the rescue! Ellie loves all humans that she meets, and she likes to jump up for hugs and pets. She would do best in a home with older kids. Ellie needs some help on her leash training because she likes to jump into the air and pull when she is excited. Ellie would love a home where she can snuggle up with her people in blankets, and go play in a big yard of her own! She is a smart girl that loves treats, so she will be easy to train. Ellie was born in 2018 and is located at the rescue in Justin, TX.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
