Amber along with her 4 siblings including Cocoa, who is also posted as an adoption with All Paws Matter, was found tied up in a garbage back on the side of the street in Mexico. A passerby saw the bag moving and opened up and immediately called our sister rescue in Mexico SOS el Arca to assist them. We cannot believe someone would toss these babies like garbage and not care whether they lived or died.

They were very tiny and needed to be bottle fed so the person that found them took them home and fostered them until they were ready for the shelter. She is now ready to come to Canada as she is happy and healthy.

Amber does not mess in the shelter so we do believe she is house trained, she is crate trained and love a fenced in yard or an apartment/condo where she can be constantly watched on leash until she gets to know her adopter due to the fact she is a flight risk like most newly adopted dogs. She still requires a bit more leash work but she is a smart girl who is food motivated which will make training a lot easier.

Children 6+ is best for Amber since she is a larger puppy and will grow a little bit more in the future. She definitely needs training and proof of this will be asked upon adoption of her. We have not tested with her cats so this would be on the discretion of the adopter.

We care about so much and want her to find the perfect home. She has been through so much in her short life. If you feel you would be the right fit for Amber, please fill out an adoption application at www.allpawsmatter.ca\\

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heartworm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
