Meet NELLY

If you are looking for a chill dog, who just wants to hang out, watch movies and be with the family, then this is your gal.

Nelly is an amazing dog that would love to be a part of any family! She loves everyone she meets. Despite her guardian breed she is not a guard dog and welcomes everyone into her house with a wiggle and kiss. She does exceptional with kids of all ages; she really has the biggest heart for her people. We think she is about 6 years old with some mild arthritis being treated with pain management which has helped so much her fosters don’t notice any pain! 

Nelly would really love to have a person/family love on her as much as she deserves. This mama came to us from the Central Valley. She went into labor on her first day with us and delivered 11 puppies. She has always loved people and does exceptionally well with kids. She is a large breed and weighs about 115 lbs right now. With a big dog comes big reward! Her personality is one of a kind. She provides entertainment for hours. She is a gentle giant and would love to spend her life with anyone who will spoil her with affection. Because of her size she would do best in a home as the only dog, she has met quite a few dogs and seems to get a long best with dogs of a similar energy level or dogs that don’t pay any attention to her.
